buy me a ticket to the end of the rainbow

The exams have been over for only a few days but somehow, my brain has done such a wonderful job of going into denial and contract/prop/clt have all been filed away nicely in my cupboard and away in my brain. 5 days seem like 10, but well, i'm not complaining. Finishing the rest of ANTM on youtube without having to tell myself that i'll only watch one part of it after 10 pages of gruelling notes; concussing for 11 hours straight and still feel like sleeping without having to jump out of bed angsting about trying to finish a neverending chapter of corporate governance;watching my calendar fill up not with academic clutter but with delightfully fun stuff; renting chick flicks from videozy and settling back with a book and another 2 deliciously inviting books waiting on the table.

there was st james power station which was pretty much a letdown: the drinks were alright, the crowd dysmal: being made up of old men, the music abit of a schizo, and if you were high enough on the booze, you could almost convince yourself that the drilling in the next room was part of the music. weren't we amazing, we finished a bottle of whiskey in 45 min.

and zouk which had to be down in the pits. insane crowd.the social gatherings started from the kopitiam. i mean we could have possibly done a law school gathering impromtu on the spot (we had that many people), and a rgs gathering next to the bar.. (which consisted of meeting ppl from waaaay back like from my lower sec days who were definitely on a high). and well, i wasn't even high. :/

I definitely was higher at walas listening to EIC on one asahi and (fun)supper at crystal jade thereafter. i have to agree with kalyn that yea, he does have much stage presence and charm. i'm sorry joel if you do not know how to appreciate good stuff. : P

yesterday was spent exploring parts of singapore i've never walked through before: scouring tekka and little india.

and bollocks to one way streets. they're horribly irritating. but well, yay to my navigator while i did the driving. we weren't lost too badly.

all these.. and its only been 5 days since.
its 1530 now.. and i got up at 1130.. ain't too bad if i crawl back into bed now would it. heh.
